Rock Lomond are comprised of Fraser Murray and his trusty keyboard and accordion player Rockin Jock.
Fraser who is now 21 year's of age was born in Edinburgh and brought up in the picturesque Village of Ormiston which is situated about 20 miles south east of Edinburgh in Scotland's Garden County of East Lothian.
Fraser's first taste of music was when he was sent as a youngster (Under Protest) to piano lessons but as with most young boys he preferred to play football and ended up playing for a local juvenile team.
However his interest in music was there to be seen or in Fraser's case his interest was there to he heard as as he was always bashing everything with make shift drum sticks.
It was at this time that Fraser asked his dad if he could learn to play the drums and in particular Pipe Band Drums.
His dad took young Fraser down to the local Tranent and District Pipe Band where he was welcomed by the then Pipe Major Kenny Campbell who introduced Fraser to the young man who was going to be his drum tutor David Murray.
Under David's tuition Fraser progressed well and is still an active drummer in Tranent and District Pipe Band to this day.
When Fraser was about 15 years of age he asked if he could maybe get an Electric Guitar and Amplifier from Santa lol.
Fraser got his electric guitar and amp and was soon on his way trying to learn Johnny Be Good and other Rock n Roll Classics.
A few years later and Fraser's dad took Fraser to watch an Elvis Presley Tribute Show Called "A Vision of Elvis Starring Rob Kingsley As Elvis"
Well that was it,Fraser was hooked, the following day Fraser was out purchasing Elvis,Rock n Roll and Country C.D.'s.,
Like so many young men and women before him Fraser wished that he had been around in the 1950's.
He didn't just want to play those songs ,he wanted to sing those songs, this was the very beginnings of his singing career.
Even at the tender age of 21 Fraser has been offered the chance to perform on Sky TV.
The future is looking bright for this very likeable and modest young man from the East of Scotland.
